Farmers Honor Peanuts Creator Charles M Schulz With Corn Mazes Across Us And In Canada

Snoopy Invades Corn Mazes to Mark Anniversary

Peanuts Worldwide Celebrates 75 Years

Over 80 Farms Get Creative with the Beloved Beagle

NEW YORK (AP) — Visitors to corn mazes across the country are finding a familiar and joyous figure in the midst of the towering stalks: Snoopy, the beloved beagle from the "Peanuts" comic strip.

More than 80 farms in the US and Canada have teamed up with Peanuts Worldwide to create intricate corn mazes honoring the 75th anniversary of the iconic character. Each maze features a unique design, showcasing scenes and characters from the comic strip.

At Downey's Farm in Caledon, Ontario, visitors can navigate a maze shaped like Snoopy's doghouse, complete with his signature red roof and blue birdhouse.

"It's a great way to celebrate the anniversary of such a beloved character," said farm owner Peter Downey. "Our visitors have been having a blast exploring the maze and reliving their childhood memories."

The corn mazes are part of a larger celebration of Snoopy's 75th anniversary, which also includes a new book release, a global art exhibition, and a special Peanuts TV special.
