Top Golfers to Compete in Paris
The world's top golf athletes will gather at the Paris 2024 Olympics, scheduled for July 26th to August 11th, 2024. The Olympic Golf tournament will take place at Le Golf National, the same course that hosted the 2018 Ryder Cup.
Golf's Olympic History
Golf was first recognized as an Olympic sport in 1900 and 1904, though the 1900 events were not officially recognized as part of the Olympic program. The sport then disappeared from the Games for 112 years until its reintroduction at the Rio 2016 Olympics. Paris 2024 will mark the third time golf has been featured in the Summer Olympics since 1904.
